I saw the movie recently and was completely hooked. I cannot wait to see what the next movies have in store for us.
As this is a very new group it will take time to fill up with all your beautiful artworks, so please be patient with me. I'll be adding new stuff every day!

Welcome! I noticed there were many Harry Potter groups, but not one specifically for Fantastic Beasts (and its expanding universe) so here it is. Buckle up!
I'll admit I was never much of a Harry Potter fan. I loved the universe, the magic and the creatures, but the main characters never quite got me hooked (except the ones that died, thanks JK Rowling).
I therefore approached Fantastic Beasts with careful indifference, but was blown away. I loved the tone, the beasts, the plot, the whole cast was amazing and really well chosen (with one possible exception, we'll get back to that later)...
Basically what I took out of this movie was: - someone help Credence - Percival's drama coat - 90% of the main characters being actual cinnamon rolls - Jacob's pastries I want them - Newt manages to stay pretty mysterious and I love it - seriously someone go hug Credence now - the Niffler is an adorable agent of chaos - The costumes in general (although Newt really looks like the Doctor lmao) - Queenie being a badass
I thought so many amazing fan arts deserved a home, so here it is

Pottermore trailer for a new JK Rowling story featuring MACUSA (Basically it's a trailer for an online book, "Magic in North Americ. Available only on Pottermore, so far):
Because I can't help but feel a little "meh" about casting Johnny Depp. For one it took me right out of the story and into "oh hey it's Johnny Depp with contact lenses", and secondly...Percival was ridiculously cool? I mean he had all the making of a great villain (badass, mysterious, suave, amazing coat ), and then gets replaced, possibly never to be seen again?
I understand the why, but I'm not too sure I like it.
Also that instantly made all the scenes with Credence a thousand times creepier, because now I'll automatically replace Colin Farrell (who got himself a new fan btw) with Johnny Depp :/
Thoughts? I'd love everyone's input
Also, what did you like the best and the least about this movie?
